SEEKING MORE INFORMATION
Authorities say a Victorville man has been arrested in connection with a sexual assault and robbery that occurred in Riverside Monday, March 7, 2022. The alleged suspect used a popular dating app to lure the victim to a location where he attempted to rape her and then robbed her at gunpoint.
Based on the suspect's internet activity, authorities believe there may be more victims. Dejuan Jones was armed during the encounters and it is believed he preyed on women less likely to report the crimes to law enforcement such as youth and sex workers. Jones is being held in jail in lieu of $275,000 bail.
