This is a hard case to look at but if you want to understand just how vulnerable an underage victim of trafficking is, it is a case that makes it clear why they need our help.
This is a tragic case of a young 16 year old girl who was trafficked and exploited by eight different men in less than three days. She was raped and broken. She was groomed and filmed during sex by a female stripper who helped arrange her dates. She was taken from location to location and given drugs and alcohol.
Someone took the time to make and distribute a missing and run away person flyer which is how she was rescued. Most of the individuals who exploited her never acknowledged the life time of damage this young victim will endure.
