Nevada is prioritizing human trafficking in a statewide federal "takedown". It included indicting a 25-year-old man who allegedly used online enticement to exploit a young teen.
This is a case analysis of a 25 year old Las Vegas man who has been indicted by a federal grand jury for crimes related to social media exploitation, a subsequent sexual act with a minor, sextortion and child sex trafficking.
The alleged victim was a young teenager. They met online and later met up where an illegal sex act took place which was allegedly filmed by the perpetrator. He then began to threaten to put the photos of the sex act on Tinder. He is accused of even opening an account in her name and giving her a quota to earn or he would destroy her. Very early on he allegedly intimidated the minor by saying "I own you now". This scenario is all too common when young people meet up with total strangers on line.
