In January, 2020 RCAHT received a referral from the Moreno Valley Police Department regarding a 19 yr female involved in prostitution under the management of a pimp. The female said that she was abused by the pimp and services were provided by RCAHT and local victim services providers for victims of sex trafficking.
RCAHT began the investigation and on February 3, 2021 Meeks was stopped during a traffic stop in Moreno Valley and arrested. Court records indicate that Meeks has a prior conviction for grand theft. Meeks is currently being held on a $550,000 bail and was facing a possible 20-year prison sentence. Subsequently, two more females have come forward with information where they may also have been victimized by Christian Meeks. The investigation is ongoing.
